‘’’Aldred Centre’’’ is an education building located in the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, in Calgary, Alberta. It was built in 2012, and has the original system.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an EST3 addressable fire alarm system. It is voice evac, and two stage. The tones and messages are unknown at this time. This system runs EST’s Signature-series addressable protocol.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are from EST’s “Genesis” line of products. The main notification appliances are EST G4R-S7VM speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, no lettering). There are also EST G4R-S7 speakers.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270P Signature-series addressable two-stage pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA-PS Signature-series addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the facility.
