'Anchor Inn and Suites' is a hotel located in Twillingate, Newfoundland. It also contains Georgie's Restaurant. The building was built in the 1980s or 1990s, and has the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards 6616 16-zone conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located across from the front desk. This panel has suffered a main board failure, and is stuck in alarm. Therefore, the system is inoperable, and should be replaced immediately. The system likely does continuous in alarm.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6" gong). There are also Edwards 403-5A-R remote strobes (15 cd)throughout the hotel. One of these strobes is stuffed into a ceiling tile, which obstructs the field of view for it.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action "teardrop" pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Edwards 6249C 4-wire ionization smoke detectors throughout the hotel.
