‘’’’Heritage Square’’’’ is a mixed-use office building located in the Acadia neighborhood of Southeast Calgary. It was built in 1979, and received a system upgrade in 2008.

System Speciifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room. The system is voice-evac, but only in the parkade. The annunciator has a Notifier AMG-2 voice evac generator and amplifier in it. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances in the main building are all Mircom FHS-240R horn/strobes (red, wall-mount). They are set on electromechanical code 3. The parkade, however, has Wheelock ET1010-R weatherproof speakers (red).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action “tab” pull stations. As these are conventional, they have Notifier FMM-101A addressable modules tied into them.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the facility.
