‘’’Costco’’’ is a chain of big-box warehouse stores across North America. This particular store is located in the East Fairview Industrial area of Southeast Calgary. It was built in 2006, but the system is not original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a tNotiFireNet networked fire alarm system. There are two panels, both are NFS-320C addressable fire alarm panels. These panels were installed in the 2010s, and likely replaced AFP-200 panels. The system does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P1224MCA horn/strobes, set on 75 candela. These are set on electromechanical code 3.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional “tab” pull stations. As they are conventional, they have Notifier FMM-101A addressable modules attached to them.

Automatic Detection Devices

The building is protected by a sprinkler system with waterflow detection, so there are no detectors.
