Dominion is a chain of supermarkets across Newfoundland. It is owned by Loblaws, and is known as Real Canadian Superstore in the western provinces, and Atlantic Superstore in the Maritimes. This particular store is located on Lake Avenue in St Johns. It was built as Memorial Stadium in 1955, and converted into Dominion in 2007. The fire alarm system was installed in 2007.

The store is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the Lake Avenue entrance. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are Mircom BL-10B motor bells (10” gong) on Mircom strobe plates (model number to be confirmed).
