Heritage Station is an LRT station in Calgary, Alberta. It serves the communities of Acadia, Haysboro, Kingsland, and many others. It opened in 1981, and was one of the original stations. The only original device is the bell.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. It was installed in 2011, and likely replaced an older Edwards panel such as a 1527 or 2280. The panel is located in a locked cabinet labeled “Fire Alarm Panel”. The panel model was confirmed by Yycsfirealarmnimrod. The system likely does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

There is only one notification appliance in the station. It is an Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bell (red, 6” gong), which is original.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

There is only one pull station. It is an EST SIGA-270 Signature-series addressable single-action pull station, from around 2016. The pull station is bent on one side, and is in fairly rough shape.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are several EST SIGA-PS Signature-series addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station.
