'Walmart' is a chain of big-box stores across the world. This particular store is located in the Deerfoot Meadows shopping area, in the East Fairview Industrial neighborhood of Southeast Calgary. It was built in 2009, and the system is original.

The store is protected by a Simplex 4100U addressable fire alarm control panel. It is located in the left entrance of the store. When the system goes into alarm, the panel synchronizes all the alarms (horns and strobes), and all horns are coded to code 3.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances are from Simplex's "TrueAlert" line of products. The main notification appliances are Simplex 4906-9127 SmartSync(red, wall mount) horn/strobes, and have Simplex 4906-9101 (red, wall mount) SmartSync remote strobes. Throughout the store, the notification appliances are mounted on poles, with two horn/strobes opposite each other, and two strobes, also opposite each other.
