Nutrien Western Event Centre

The Nutrien Western Event Centre is an event centre in Stampede Park in SE Calgary, AB. It is the "heart and home of year-round western events and agricultural education on Stampede Park". It was built in 2014, and has the original fire alarm system. It consists of a 2500 seat arena, and a 20,000 sq ft exhibition hall. Usually rodeos and western competitions are done at this arena.

The event center still has its original fire panel, a Siemens FireFinder XLS. It is located in the front entrance of the building.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are original to the facility. They are Siemens SFM24-10 motor bells on Siemens ST-RETRO-MC-R-B (bilingual, rebranded Wheelock RSSP-24MCW) strobe plates. Outside the entrance, there is a Siemens ST-75-WP-B (rebranded bilingual Wheelock RSS-24MCW) weatherproof remote strobe.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are Siemens HMS-SA, original to the building as well.

Automatic Detection Devices

The smoke detectors are Siemens FirePrint FP-11.
