The Crowfoot Library is a public library in Crowfoot, NW Calgary. It is part of the Calgary Public Library, and it was built in 2004, but the current system is from 2014. All of the notification appliances are original.

System Specifications (2014-present)

FACP

The library is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the main entrance, between two book return slots. The system runs Notifier's FlashScan addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P1224MCA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd). These are mounted on the ceiling throughout the library.

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the library.

FACP

The library was protected by a Simplex 4010 addressable fire alarm system. The panel was located at the main entrance. The system ran Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and did code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances were System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P1224MC horn/strobes. These are still in use on the Notifier system, and were likely installed due to customer preference.

All pull stations were Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There were Simplex "TrueAlarm" 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the library.
