‘’’Sunalta Station’’’ is a Blue Line CTrain station in Calgary, Alberta. It is an elevated station, and serves the Sunalta neighborhood of Southwest Calgary. The station opened in 2012, along with the rest of the West LRT. The system is original.

System Specifications

FACP

The station is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the Fire Control Room on the first floor. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and does code 3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are from Simplex’s “TrueAlert” line of products. The indoor portions of the station have Simplex 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd). The platform of the station has Simplex 4906-9131 weatherproof horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the indoor portions of the station.
