‘’’Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport’’’ is a regional airport located on Toronto Island, in Toronto, Ontario. It is much smaller and less busy than Toronto Pearson, which is the busiest airport in Canada. This terminal opened in 2010, and has the original fire alarm system.

System Specifications

FACP

The airport is protected by a Notifier NFS2-3030C addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, but the model has been confirmed by the size and age of the terminal, along with the devices on the system. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, but the tones of the system are unknown.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are from System Sensor’s “SpectrAlert Advance” line of products. Throughout the terminal, there is a mix of System Sensor SPSCWA speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount), System Sensor SPCWA remote speakers (white, ceiling-mount), and System Sensor SPSRA speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount).

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950KB conventional two-stage single-action pull stations. These have two Notifier FMM-101A addressable modules attached to them, as they are conventional.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the terminal.
