Federated Co-operatives Limited is a co-operative and chain of grocery stores headquartered in Saskatoon, SK. This particular location is located at 5421 50 St in Leduc, Alberta, Canada. This store was built in 1972 as Sobeys, and became Co-op in 2013 as the nearby Safeway store was better-performing. The store was renovated in 1996, and most of the fire alarm system was installed following that renovation.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards FireShield Plus FSP1004G (10 zone) conventional fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown, however was confirmed by an annunciator. It was installed sometime between 2020-2022 as the replacement for a Notifier System 500. The system coding is most likely temporal.

Annunciators

There is an Edwards FSRA10C LED annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances are System Sensor “Multi-Alert Sounder/Strobe” MASS24LO (red, wall-mount, 1.5cd) sounder/strobes, mounted on the ceiling. These are most likely set to 800Hz Continuous. For exterior notification, there is a Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bell (6” gong) located on the left side.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier NFM-950B conventional pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

The storefront is protected by a sprinkler system with waterflow detection, so there are no detectors present.
