Hampton Inn & Suites is a chain of hotels owned by Hilton. The chain is headquartered in McLean, Virginia, USA, and has locations worldwide. This particular hotel is located at 2420 37 Avenue Northeast, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The hotel opened in 1997, and the fire alarm system is original.

The building is protected by a Notifier AFP-200 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is continuous.
