Cineplex is Canada's largest movie theatre chain, with 165 locations currently operating across the country. It operates under many brands, including Cineplex Odeon, Cineplex Spectrum, Scotiabank Theatres, Famous Players, and Cineplex VIP. This particular theatre is located at 2555 32 Street Northeast #400, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The theatre opened in 1999, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100+ addressable fire alarm system. This panel is assumed, based on the age and size of the building. The system has voice evacuation capabilites. The panel location/tones are unknown at this time. This system runs Simplex's MAPNET II addressable protocol.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Simplex 4903-9148 speaker/strobes (red, wall mount, 15cd, horizontal). These are seen in the corridors, lobby and theatres. Next to the main entrance, there is a Simplex 4903-9153 speaker/strobe(red, wall mount, 15cd, vertical). The washrooms have Wheelock E90-24MCC-FW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount).
