Henry Wise Wood High School is a public high school located at 910 75 Avenue Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The school is owned and operated by the Calgary Board of Education (CBE). The school originally opened in 1961, and was expanded in 1964, and renovated in 1976, 1998 and 2005. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 1997, and was fully replaced in 2022 due to a panel failure.

There is a Notifier LCD-160 annunciator next to the main office, in the main lobby.

There are several Notifier ACPS-610 addressable power supplies throughout the school.
Notification Appliances
All classrooms, corridors and most other areas have System Sensor P2RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd/electromechanical). Some areas have System Sensor SRLA remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) for additional visual coverage. The student washrooms have System Sensor P4RLA horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd), wired as remote strobes.

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Notifier FSP-951A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on System Sensor B300A-6 bases. There may also be a sprinkler system installed, although this is unconfirmed.

FACP
The building was protected by an Edwards EST2 addressable fire alarm system. The panel was located in the basement electrical room. The system ran Edwards’ Signature-series addressable protocol, and the system coding was continuous.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances were General Signal MB10-24 motor bells (10” gong) mounted on Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd).

Automatic Detection Devices
