System Specifications

FACP

The store is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located by the returns desk. The system runs Mircom's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There is a Mircom RAX-LCD annunciator at the entrance.

Notification Appliances

Most of the notification appliances are the original Mircom "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" FHS-240R (red, 30cd) horn/strobes. By the bakery, there is a Mircom "Select-A-Horn/Strobe" FHS-340R (red) horn/strobe, installed as a replacement for a damaged FHS-240R (strobe popped out) in 2012. At the photography desk, there's a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" PC4RA (red, ceiling-mount, 4-wire) horn/strobe in summer of 2017 as a deficiency replacement. There is a Mircom FHS-240W (white) horn/strobe specifically chosen to blend in with the wall, under a cover.

The freezers and dairy rooms have System Sensor "SpectrAlert" P1224MCKA (red, wall-mount, multi-candela) horn/strobes, which are also original. The produce cooler has a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P4RKA (red, wall-mount) weatherproof horn/strobe, installed as a deficiency replacement in November 2021. For outdoor notification, there are two System Sensor "SpectrAlert" S1224MCKA (red, wall-mount) weatherproof remote strobes, one at the entrance, and one behind the store.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

The pull stations are all Mircom MS-401AD addressable pull stations. There is one deficiency replacement MS-401AD by an exit, installed in 2015.

Automatic Detection Devices

Most of the store is protected by waterflow, however there are Mircom MIX-2251AD addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in the cafeteria, bakery, and meat. [[] [[]
