The fire alarm components in No Frills are original except for the panel, while the GoodLife Fitness components were installed in 2012.

System Specifications (1998/2012-present)

FACP

The building is protected by a Kidde VS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is in the entrance of No Frills, and was was installed in 2018, replacing an EST QuickStart QS1 from the conversion (2012), which in turn replaced the original Edwards EST2. The system runs Kidde's GSA addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There is a Kidde RLCD LCD annunciator outside of GoodLife Fitness, fitted in the QSA-1-S cabinet.

Notification Appliances

No Frills

The notification appliances are mostly Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bells (10" gong) on EST 403-5A-R (15cd) strobe plates. There are also Wheelock MB-G6-24 motor bells (6" gong) scattered.

GoodLife Fitness

The notification appliances are mostly Edwards MB10-24 motor bells (10" gong) on EST 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd), installed in 2012. In the back of the gym, there is an original Edwards 439D-10AWC+EST 403-5A-R bell/strobe.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations. In the No Frills, they are the first-generation with the shield logo. In GoodLife Fitness, they are the EST/GE variant.

Automatic Detection Devices

The building is protected by a sprinkler system with waterflow, so there are no visible detectors.

Modules

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system.
