McDonald's is the world’s largest fast food restaurant chain.  They are headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, USA, and have over 40,000 locations globally.  This particular restaurant is located at 6504 Sparrow Drive, in Leduc, Alberta, Canada.  The restaurant opened in 1981, and was renovated in 2018.  The fire alarm system is from the renovation, but the pull stations remain original.

The building was protected by an Edwards 1527 conventional fire alarm system.  The panel location was unknown.  The system coding was continuous.

Notification Appliances

The main dining room had an Edwards “Durabel” 6100D vibrating bell (6” gong).  The playplace had a Mirtone 74330 vibrating bell (10” gong), installed as a deficiency replacement.

All pull stations were Edwards 274-111 conventional single-action pull stations.  These remain in use on the new system.
