301-335 8888 Country Hills Blvd NW is a small plaza in Royal Oak Centre, near Royal Oak, NW Calgary. It houses Pizza 73, Sobeys Liquor, Tower Cleaners, OrangeTheory Fitness, Smashburger, Tokaido Ramen & Bar, and BMO Bank of Montreal. The plaza was built in 2004, and the fire alarm system is mostly original, with devices installed as tenants open.

The building is protected by an EST QuickStart QS1 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room at the back. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances
All indoor notification appliances are from EST's "Genesis" line of products. The notification appliances in most tenants are EST "Genesis" G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, no lettering, set to 15cd). The Smashburger opened 2012, and has EST G1-HDVM horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, no lettering, 15cd); two are also installed in Sobeys Liquor in the renovated areas (2016). One horn/strobe in Smashburger is missing its lens. Behind the plaza, there is a System Sensor "SpectrAlert Advance" P2WK-P weatherproof horn/strobe (white, wall-mount, no FIRE, set to 75cd).

Pull Stations
All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable pull stations. Most are original, and Smashburger has EST/GE variants.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors, installed on SIGA-SB bases. There is also a sprinkler system with waterflow detection.
Modules
There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
