Premium Outlet Collection EIA is a shopping centre located at 1 Outlet Collection Way, in Leduc, Alberta, Canada. The mall began construction in 2016, opened in 2018, and the fire alarm system is original.
System Specifications (2018-present)
FACP
The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The main node is located in the Security Office. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are Simplex from Simplex's “TrueAlert” line of products. The main notification appliances are Simplex 4906-9154 speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 70V/15cd). There are Simplex 4902-9721 (white, ceiling-mount, set to 70V) speakers installed with the said speaker/strobes for more audible coverage. The aforementioned speakers and speaker/strobes can also be found in the tenants. The hallways in some tenants contain Simplex 4906-9153 (white, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd) speaker/strobes. Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW) has Simplex 4906-9151 speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 70V, 15cd).
For exterior notification, there is a Simplex 4906-9105 (red, wall-mount) weatherproof remote strobe outside the Security Office door near entrance 5.

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9004CA addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas and next to dampers in the main mall corridors., mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases. The building is also equipped with a sprinkler system.
Modules
There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
