Max Bell Centre (also called Max Bell Arena) is an ice hockey arena located at 1001 Barlow Trail SE, Calgary, AB. It consists of two NHL-sized arenas, with a seating capacity of 2,121. It also hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics. The arena was built in 1971, this one is known as Ken Bracko Arena. The building expanded in 2007 to add a second sheet of ice. The fire alarm system was installed in 2021.

The arena is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the arena operations office. The system runs Simplex's IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Annunciators
There is a Simplex 4100-9315 "InfoAlarm Command Center" Operator Interface near the main entrance.
Notification Appliances
All notification appliances are from Simplex "TrueAlert" line of products. The main notification appliances are Simplex 4906-9129 horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd). The lobby has Simplex 4906-9130 horn/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 30cd).

FACP
The building was protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel was located in some office, and was confirmed by the annunciator. It was installed in 2018, replacing a similar one installed in 2007. The system ran Mircom's CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding was most likely temporal.
Annunciators
There was a Mircom RAX-LCD LCD annunciator near the main entrance.
Notification Appliances
The notification appliances in Ken Bracko arena were Notifier KMS-6-24A motor bells (6" gong) on Amseco RSB24-153075 strobe plates (rebranded by Mircom, 15cd). Max Bell #2 had Mircom BL-10B (10" gong) motor bells on the aforementioned strobe plates; the dressing room hallway of this arena had Mircom BL-6A motor bells (6" gong) on the aforementioned strobe plates. There was also an Edwards 439D-10AWC vibrating bell (10" gong) in a dressing room, installed as a deficiency replacement around 2017.
