Walmart is a large chain of supermarkets headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas, USA. This particular store is located at 5005 Northland Drive Northwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 1971 as Woolco, and was converted into Walmart in 1994 when Woolco went out of business. The store underwent a 13.4 million dollar renovation in 2021. The fire alarm system was installed in 2021, following the renovation and the system was also installed because the mall is being converted to an outdoor shopping centre.
