North Park Collegiate & Vocational School is a vocational school located at 280 North Park Street, Brantford, Ontario. It was built in 1959, expanded in 1963, 1965 and 1971. The fire alarm system was mostly upgraded in the 1990s; some pull stations are original.

System Specifications (1990s-present)

FACP

The school is protected by a Notifier System 500 conventional fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system coding is likely continuous. This panel likely replaced an Edwards 2280.

Annunciators

There is a Notifier ACM-16AT LED annunciator in the lobby.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Edwards “Integrity” 757-1A-T horns (red, wall-mount). These are mostly flush-mounted, but the changeroom has these surface-mounted. There is one Wheelock 34T-24 horn in the school.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Edwards 270-SPO conventional single-action pull stations. Most are original to each expansion, but newer ones can be found as deficiency replacements.

Automatic Detection Devices
