Rogers Place is a large venue located in at 10220 104 Ave NW, downtown Edmonton, Alberta. It is the home arena for the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Oil Kings. With a seating capacity of 20,734, Rogers Place is the second largest arena in Canada. This venue also hosts many concerts and other events. It opened in 2016, and has the original system.

The arena is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panels are located in the lobby. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol and is equipped with voice-evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation, but it is unknown what tones or messages the system plays.
Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9151 speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount).
There are Simplex 4906-9154 speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount) in one hallway.
The arena and seating bowl have no notification appliances, and the main sound system is tied into the 4100ES via a 4090-9002 relay module to cut the main PA feed and broadcast the fire alarm:
There are 10 arrays of eight D&B-Audiotechnik Vi8 3-way line array speakers in the arena, along with three Vi-SUB subwoofers behind them. There are D&B-Audiotechnik Yi10P 2-way point-source speakers for additional coverage.

There are Simplex 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas, mounted on 4098-9792 bases.
Modules
There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
There are also Simplex 4090-9002 addressable relays serving various purposes.
