Calgary Co-op is a chain of member-owned grocery stores across Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They have stores throughout the city, and in surrounding towns and cities such as Airdrie and High River. This particular store is located at 5505 Shaganappi Trail Northwest, in Calgary. The store opened in 1973, and the fire alarm system was installed in 2022.

The building is protected by an Edwards iO64 conventional fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There is an Edwards R-LCD-C annunciator paired with an R-LED annunciator at the Health entrance.

All notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G4AVRF horn/strobes (red, wall-mount). One is installed on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plate, which is disconnected.

The store was protected by an EST ESA2000 conventional fire alarm system. The panel location was unknown. The system coding was likely continuous.

Annunciators

There was an EST annunciator in the health entrance, model to be confirmed.

Notification Appliances

Most of the notification appliances were Edwards 439D-6AWC vibrating bells (6” gong) on EST 403-5A-R (15cd) strobe plates.

There was one Notifier KMS-6-24A motor bell (6” gong) on a Wheelock RSSP-24MCW (red, wall-mount, multi-candela) strobe plate near the entrance as a deficiency replacement. The Wheelock strobe plate still exists, but is disconnected.
