It has an identical design and fire alarm system to Dr. Martha Cohen School.

System Specifications

FACP

The school is protected by an EST iO500 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in room #200 (second floor data room). The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciator

There is an EST RLCD-C LCD annunciator, as well as an EST RLED-24 LED annunciator, in the main entrance.

Notification Appliances

The notification appliances are from Edwards' "Genesis" line of products.

The hallways have EST G1R-HDVM horn/strobes (red, wall mount, no marking, set to low-volume/15cd)

The classrooms have EST G1R-HD remote horns (red, wall mount, no marking).

The bathrooms have EST G1R-VM remote strobes (red, wall mount, no marking).

For exterior notification, there is an EST CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobe (red, 15/75cd) outside the main entrance.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

Most pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations. These are located in the hallways and the main office.

The gymnasiums and wood shop have Edwards MPSR1-SHTW conventional hazardous-location single-action pull stations, wired to EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules. These were installed around 2019.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are EST SIGA-PS smoke detectors located throughout the school, mounted on SIGA-SB bases.

There are EST "SuperDuct" SIGA-SD addressable photoelectric duct smoke detectors on the air handling units.

Modules

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

There are EST SIGA-CR addressable relays for various purposes.
