Calgary Municipal Building (also known as New City Hall) is a large government building in Downtown Calgary. It is located at 800 MacLeod Trail SE, Alberta, Canada. It houses the offices for most city employees, the municipal council chamber, and several services, such as payment offices. The building opened in 1985, and had its fire alarm system upgraded in 2003.

The building is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The main panel is located in the fire control room, adjacent to the elevator lobby on the second floor. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.
Notification Appliances
Most notification appliances are Edwards 965-5A-8RW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 8” driver, 15cd).
Some lower-traffic areas have Edwards 965-5A-4RW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 4” driver, 15cd).
Initiating Devices
Pull Stations
All pull stations are EST SIGA-270P addressable two-stage single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases.
Modules
There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
