Chaparral Village is a condo complex located in the Chaparral neighborhood of Southeast Calgary. It was built in 1999, and most of the system is original.
NOTE: This page may not be too accurate, as the only resources used were photos from condo rental websites. Some peripherals are assumed based on the age of the building and system.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier addressable fire alarm system. If the panel is original, it is an AFP-200C, but if it was replaced, it is an NFS-320C. The panel location is unknown, but likely at the main entrance. The system certainly does code-3 in alarm.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

The hallways have System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15 cd). The units either have the same P2415A horn/strobes, or Notifier silenceable mini horns (originally manufactured by Mircom as the MH-S25WA), model to be confirmed.

Initiating Devices[edit | edit source]

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action “tab” pull stations. As these are conventional, they have Notifier MMX-101A addressable modules connected to them.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FSP-851A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the complex. [[]
