Courtyard by Marriott is a brand of midscale hotels owned by Marriott. This particular hotel is located at 770 Copperfield Dr, Norman, Oklahoma. The hotel opened in 2008, and the fire alarm system is original.

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS2-640 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

There is a Notifier FDU-80 remote annunciator behind the front desk.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are from System Sensor’s “SpectrAlert Advance” line of products.
Most notification appliances are System Sensor P2W horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
Certain areas have System Sensor SW remote strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 15cd.
Each guest room has a System Sensor B501BH sounder base.
ADA rooms have System Sensor P2WH-LF low-frequency horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 110cd), and the bathrooms have System Sensor SW remote strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 110cd).

All pull stations are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FSP-851 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout. These are mounted on System Sensor B710LP bases throughout, and on B501BH sounder bases in each guest room.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FMM-1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
