Dalhousie Station is an LRT station located at 4785 Dalhousie Drive Northwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The station primarily serves the neighborhoods of Dalhousie and Varsity Estates, and is located adjacent to the Dalhousie Station Shopping Centre. The station also has bus connections to several neighborhoods. The station opened in 2003, and served as the northern terminus for the red line until the opening of Crowfoot Station in 2009. The fire alarm system is original.

FACP

The station is protected by a Notifier AFP-200C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances

All notification appliances but one are System Sensor “SpectrAlert” P2415A horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, 15cd).

There is a System Sensor "L-Series" P2RLA horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd/electromechanical) at the entrance as a deficiency replacement.

Initiating Devices

Pull Stations

All pull stations are Notifier MPS-950B conventional single-action pull stations. All stations are wired to Notifier FMM-101A addressable modules, mounted directly behind each station.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Notifier FSP-751A addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the station, mounted on System Sensor B710LPA low-profile bases. The station does not have a sprinkler system.
