Hilton Garden Inn is a chain of hotels owned by Hilton. The chain is headquartered in McLean, Virginia, USA, and has locations globally. This particular hotel is located at 235 West Capitol Street, in Downtown Jackson, Mississippi, USA. The hotel opened in 1923 as the Edwards Hotel, and underwent an $89 million transformation in 2009. The fire alarm system was upgraded following the 2009 renovation.

All guest rooms and most common areas have Edwards “Genesis” GCF-S7VM speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, FIRE marking, 70V, set to 15cd). Other common areas have Edwards G4R-S7VM speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, no marking, 70V, set to 15cd).

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout all areas of the hotel. These are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases in common areas, and on EST SIGA-AB4G sounder bases in all guest rooms.
