Nordstrom is an American chain of upscale department stores. This particular store was located at 11900 Southeast 82 Avenue, in Happy Valley, Oregon, USA. The store opened in 1981, and closed in 2020. The fire alarm system was upgraded in the 2000s.

The building was protected by a Silent Knight 5808 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location was unknown. The system ran Silent Knight’s SD (Hochiki) protocol, and the system coding was temporal.
