The Oregon Museum of Science & Industry is a large science museum located at 1945 SE Water Avenue, in Portland, Oregon, USA. The museum opened in 1992, and the fire alarm system is original excluding the main FACP.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Simplex’s MAPNET II addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation tone is slow whoop, followed by a male message. See the script below.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are Wheelock ET-1090-24-WS-CFW speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, 25V, 1.5cd). Some areas have Wheelock E7025-WS-24 speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, 25V, 1.5cd). There are Wheelock ET-7025-24-LSM (Red, Wall Mount, 25V, 15/75cd) and Wheelock E70-24MCW-FW (Red, Wall Mount, 25V, 15cd) as deficiency replacements

There is a fire emergency in the building. You are to leave the building by the nearest exit. Do not use the elevators.
