Brentview Tower is a 14-story apartment building located at 3524 31 St NW, Calgary, Alberta. It is located adjacent to Boardwalk Retirement Community. It was built in 1970, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2005, and then 2015.

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances
All audible notification appliances are Wheelock MB-G10-24 motor bells (10” gong), mounted on Wheelock RSSP-2415W strobe plates (15cd) except for one.
One bell is mounted on an Amseco RSB24-153075 strobe plate (red, set to 75cd) as a deficiency replacement.

Pull Stations
All pull stations are Mircom MS-401AD addressable single-action pull stations.
Automatic Detection Devices
There are Mircom MIX-2251APA addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building.
The garbage chute rooms, mechanical/electrical rooms and other similar areas have Mircom MIX-5251RAPA addressable 135°F fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors.
All detectors are mounted on System Sensor B210LPA bases.
