Sobeys is a Canadian grocery store chain headquartered in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. This particular store is located at 392 St Albert Trail, in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. The store was built in 1987 as IGA, and was expanded in 1995. The fire alarm system was upgraded during the 1995 conversion.

Please note that this system only supervises Sobeys. The rest of the plaza does not have a fire alarm system.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier AFP-200 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Notifier’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is continuous.

There is a Notifier LCD-80 annunciator in the main entrance vestibule.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances but one are System Sensor “Multi-Alert” MASS24LOA sounder/strobes (red, ceiling-mount, 1.5cd).
There is a System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” P2RA horn/strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) in Aisle 7 as a deficiency replacement.

All pull stations are Notifier NFM-950B conventional single-action pull stations.
All stations are wired to Notifier MMX-101A addressable monitor modules.

There are Notifier MMX-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.

There are Notifier EOL-CR end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
