The ING Building is an office building located at 10130 103 Street Northwest, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The building opened in 1982, and was renovated in 2020. The fire alarm system was upgraded following the 2020 renovation.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. There is a panel in the main entrance vestibule, which may be the main node. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation. The alert signal is 20BPM, followed by temporal for the alarm. signal There are likely voice messages for both stages.

All known notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9153 speaker/strobes (white, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd).

There are likely Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas, mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases. There is also a sprinkler system with waterflow detection.

There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.
