The building is protected by a Simplex 4100U addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
Notification Appliances
All common areas have Simplex "TrueAlert" 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
All dorm rooms have Simplex 4901-9852C silenceable mini horns (white, wall-mount).
For outdoor notification, there is a Simplex 4906-9105 weatherproof remote strobe (red, wall-mount) outside the main entrance.

Automatic Detection Devices
There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the office areas and in all corridors and dorm rooms.
There are Simplex 4098-9733 addressable fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors throughout the vehicle bay.

There is a Simplex 4098-9755 addressable photoelectric duct smoke detector on the main duct.
