New Heights School and Learning Services is a special needs school located at 2521 Dieppe Ave SW, Calgary, Alberta. The building was built in the 1930s; the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2012.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by an EST iO500 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located at the front entrance. The system runs EST’s Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are Edwards MB10-24 motor bells (10” gong) on Edwards 403-5A-R strobe plates (15cd). There is one bell/strobe in a classroom.
For exterior notification, there is an Edwards CS405-7A-T weatherproof remote strobe (red, 15/75cd) at the rear of the building.

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.

There are EST SIGA-PS addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the school, mounted on EST SIGA-SB detector bases.

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
