230-250 Watt Common SW is the address given to a plaza in the Ellerslie area of Edmonton. Its tenants are Dollarama, Winners, Petland and Shoppers Drug Mart. The Shoppers and Petland were completed in 2018, and the other two stores were added in 2021. The fire alarm system is original.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Notifier NFS-320C addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in an electrical room. The system runs Notifier’s FlashScan addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators[edit | edit source]

There is a Notifier LCD2-80 LCD annunciator paired with an ACM-24AT LED annunciator in the Shoppers entrance vestibule.

There is also a Notifier ACM-24AT annunciator in the Winners entrance vestibule.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are System Sensor “L-Series” PC2RLA-E horn/strobes (red, ceiling-mount, English only, set to 15cd).
For exterior notification, there are two System Sensor “SpectrAlert Advance” SRKA weatherproof remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 75cd) outside of Shoppers, and behind the store outside the electrical room.

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

All pull stations except for Shoppers are Notifier NBG-12LX addressable dual-action pull stations.

There are Notifier N-MPS-SA addressable single-action pull stations in Shoppers.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

The entire plaza is protected by waterflow protection, so there are no detectors.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier FMM-1A addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Notifier EOL-CR end-of-line resistors on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
