Bridlewood Centre is a small professional building located at 2577 Bridlecrest Way Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The building was built in 2008, and the fire alarm system is original.

System Specifications[edit | edit source]

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Simplex 4008 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is continuous.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All indoor notification appliances are Simplex 2901-9723 motor bells (6” gong) mounted on Wheelock RSSP-24MCW strobe plates (set to 15cd). The bells and strobes are wired in series.

For outdoor notification, there is a System Sensor “SpectrAlert” S2415KA remote strobe (red, wall-mount, 15cd) outside the main electrical room.

All pull stations are Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building, as well as Simplex 4098-9733 addressable fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors in some areas. All detectors are mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 addressable bases.

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end of line resistor plates on all signal circuits.
