Edwards Adaptabel

The Edwards Adaptabel is a series of electric bells made by Edwards. They can be single-stroke or vibrating depending on the model. These have been manufactured since at least 1900, when Edwards designed a bell with a horizontally actuated plunger. There are many models of Adaptabel, so there will only be the series.

Series[edit | edit source]

  • 340 series - AC powered vibrating bells
  • 341 series - DC powered vibrating bells (discontinued in the mid-1960s)
  • 343 series - DC powered vibrating bells (discontinued around 1990s)
  • 435 series - DC powered vibrating bells
  • 332 series - AC powered single-stroke bells
  • 333 series - DC powered single-stroke bells
