The Marriott Marquis Chicago is a luxury hotel located at 2121 S Prairie Ave, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The hotel opened in 2017, and the fire alarm system is original.

The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main lobby. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The evacuation messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

All common areas have Wheelock E70-24MCW-FR speaker/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 70V/15cd).
Some common areas have Wheelock RSS-24MCW-FR remote strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd) for additional visual coverage.
All guest rooms have Wheelock E90-R remote speakers (red, ceiling-mount).

There are Simplex “TrueAlarm” 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors throughout the building.
These are mounted on Simplex 4098-9792 bases in all common areas, and on Simplex 4098-9794 sounder bases in all guest rooms.

There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.
There are Simplex 4090-9002 addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
There are likely Simplex 4090-9116 isolator modules on all SLCs.
