Walmart Supercentre is a chain of supermarkets headquartered in Bentonville, Arkansas. This particular store is located at 700 St Albert Trail, in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada. The store was built in 2002, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 2024.

The building is protected by an Edwards EST4 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the north entrance vestibule. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Most notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1AVWF horn/strobes (white, wall-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd).
Additionally, there are Edwards G1VWF remote strobes (white, wall-mount, FIRE marking, set to 15cd) in most areas.
Horn/strobes and strobes are mounted on poles throughout the store, with 2 horn/strobes and 2 remote strobes mounted in this pattern: horn/strobe, strobe, horn/strobe, strobe on all 4 sides.
The exterior walls have horn/strobes mounted remotely.
