Walmart is a chain of big box stores across the world. This particular store is located at 1212 37 St SW, Calgary, AB, located in Westbrook Mall. The store opened in 1964 as Woolco, and became Walmart in 1994. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 2002.

Note: This system only covers Walmart and not the mall.

The store is protected by an Edwards EST3 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs EST's Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

Most notification appliances are Edwards 757-1A-TW remote horns (white wall-mount) on poles opposite of each other, and two EST “Genesis” G1-VM remote strobes (white, wall-mount, no marking, set to 15cd) on each side. There are Edwards G1-HD remote horns (white, wall-mount, no marking) as deficiency replacements.

None noticed. The store has a sprinkler system.

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches.

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
