Wyndham Garden is a chain of upper-midrange hotels owned by Wyndham Group. They are headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. This particular hotel is located at 8016 Sparrow Dr, Leduc, AB, and primarily serves the Edmonton International Airport. It was built in 2017, and the system is undoubtedly original.

The hotel is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located near the front entrance. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors in some areas, mounted on 4098-9792 bases. There is also a sprinkler system with waterflow detection.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex 4090-9001 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system's tamper and flow switches.

EOLs[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex 2081-9040C end-of-line resistor plates on all sprinkler circuits.


Bonus Information[edit | edit source]

The handicap rooms in this hotel have Edwards 6536-G5 mini horn/strobes in them. They are used as doorbell signals, and are not connected to the fire alarm system.
