Bowen Terrace is a group of 5 apartment buildings located in Nanaimo, BC. This page will cover Building 5, which is located at 999 Bowen Rd. It was built in 1965, and the fire alarm system was upgraded in 1991.

The building is protected by an Edwards 6616 conventional fire alarm system. The panel is located at the entrance. The system coding is continuous.

All pull stations are Edwards 275-C111 conventional single-action pull stations.

There are Edwards 6250C conventional ionization smoke detectors throughout the building.
Some areas, and all units have Edwards 281C 135-degree fixed temperature/rate-of-rise heat detectors.
