System Specifications

FACP

The building is protected by an Edwards iO1000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main electrical room, which is located in the parkade. The system runs Edwards’ Signature addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Annunciators

There is an EST RLCD-C annunciator paired with an EST RLED24 annunciator in the side entrance vestibule.

Notification Appliances

Most notification appliances are Edwards “Genesis” G1AVRF horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd). Some areas have Edwards GCAVWF horn/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 15cd). Areas requiring additional sound coverage have Edwards G1RF-HD remote horns (red, wall-mount, FIRE marking).

All pull stations are EST SIGA-270 addressable single-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices

There are Edwards SIGA-OSD addressable optical smoke detectors throughout the building, as well as Edwards SIGA-HRD 135°F fixed/rate-of-rise heat detectors in the electrical and mechanical rooms. All detectors are mounted on EST SIGA-SB bases. All aboveground floors are protected by a wet sprinkler system; the parkade is equipped with a dry sprinkler system.

Modules

There are EST SIGA-CT1 addressable monitor modules supervising the sprinkler system’s tamper and flow switches. There are EST SIGA-IM isolator modules on the system.

EOLs

There are Edwards EOL-P1 end of line resistor plates on all sprinkler and signal circuits.
