Ramada is a chain of budget hotels owned by Wyndham Group. The chain is headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey, USA. This particular hotel is located at 708 8 Avenue Southwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The hotel opened in 1964, and was renovated in 1998. The fire alarm system was upgraded in 2008.

The building is protected by a Mircom FX-2000 addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Mircom’s CLIP addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.
