The University of Calgary is a public research university in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This page will cover the Foothills Campus, located at 3330 Hospital Drive Northwest, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This campus is the university’s medical school building. The building opened in 1975, and was renovated in 2011. The fire alarm system was upgraded as part of the 2011 renovation.

FACP[edit | edit source]
The building is protected by a Simplex 4100ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel location is unknown. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and is equipped with voice evacuation. The system is configured for two-stage operation, however the messages and/or tones are unknown at this time.

All notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9154 speaker/strobes (white, ceiling-mount, set to 70V/15cd).
