The Forest Lawn Radio Site is a radio tower located at 2774 2 Ave SE, Calgary, AB. It transmits the Calgary Municipal Radio Network. It was built in 1990, and the fire alarm system was upgraded around 2012.

FACP[edit | edit source]

The building is protected by a Simplex 4010ES addressable fire alarm system. The panel is located in the main entrance vestibule. The system runs Simplex’s IDNet addressable protocol, and the system coding is temporal.

Notification Appliances[edit | edit source]

All notification appliances are Simplex “TrueAlert” 4906-9127 horn/strobes (red, wall-mount, set to 15cd).
For outdoor notification, there is a Simplex 4906-9105 weatherproof remote strobe (red, wall-mount, set to 60cd).

Pull Stations[edit | edit source]

Most pull stations are Simplex 4099-9001 addressable single-action pull stations.
The server room has Simplex 4099-9003 addressable dual-action pull stations.

Automatic Detection Devices[edit | edit source]

There are Simplex 4098-9714 addressable photoelectric smoke detectors, mounted on 4098-9792 bases.

Modules[edit | edit source]

There is a Sapphire fire suppression system, connected via a Simplex 4090-9001 module.
There are also Simplex 4090-9002 addressable relay modules serving various purposes.
